Following up with the now closed Vertical scrollbar in editor window, I’d like to bring the subject back on the table because I feel a vertical scrollbar is indeed missing in the editor, or at least a visual indicator of the scroll position. It’s not that much a matter of being able to scroll without a mousewheel (although I also think that’s a reasonable expectation), it’s rather that having a visual clue of where I am in the track list would make things more efficient for me (and for others I presume). The horizontal scroller does a very good job at this, the summary / region map gives me a global view of my session that I quickly come to know and makes me able to navigate through the timeline without necessarily having to read my markers. Navigating vertically is a bit less comfortable without such a feature.
