Three years after its first album, Superpocket is back with another album, recorded, edited and mixed using Ardour !

Almost only FLOSS plugins were used (x42, airwindows, lsp, unplugred, tap, C*; noise repellent, neural amp modeller, ZL Equalizer, and probably more than I can recall…), with just a pinch of Auburn plugins here and there.

Mastering was once again done using reaper, hardware and black magic I presume :).

Very unique and very cool stuff. I like it a lot…and yet another drummer with blisters on his fingers! :smiley:

Fuck yeah, this is a very interesting listen :+1: Reminds me a lot of pre-2009 Supersilent (and I mean that in a good way) except this Superpocket album is a lot more dynamic and beautifully pitched.

The production is fantastic too by the way - you’ve done a superb job of getting everything to sit in the space together and keep a smooth tone while still sounding exciting and energetic. Must be difficult to do for this type of music, I imagine.

Thank you very much for the kind words ! I did listen to Supersilent a long time ago, and it was quite a breakthrough for me at the time, I appreciate the comparison :).
