After selecting jack it doesn’t show anymore at all
In Force the Audio/MIDI setup window it says “The reasoning is that you have already configured and started JACK so there is no reason to do so again.”. But what should I do if I want to switch from jack to pulseaudio?
The only way I could find is to stop jack, then start ardour. There must be a button or something to do that in Ardour, right?
If you have previously used JACK and jackd is already running when Ardour is started, the dialog is not shown again.
In your case, it is probably easiest to stop JACK and then launch Ardour (because other applications can not directly use the soundcard while jackd is running).
