I can do whatever, SQ-1 doesn't sync (Mac-9.2)

Tahoe 26.3.1 here, Ardour 9.2. I try to sync the SQ-1 but I can’t seem to do it. I tried all the things in my textbook: designating Midi clock/MMC/MTC in the MIDI connections window, restarting Ardour/Mac/SQ-1 in any combination, Play/Record, … to no avail. It used to work in Ardour 8, but I’m not sure if this was on Tahoe or Ventura (switched Macbooks too).
