Well the playhead is 12 hours into the session. With a 140 BPM that it seems plausible that you’re at bar 26 thousand. – That’s quite a symphony you compose there
–
If you want reset zoom: Close the session and then delete the file instant.xml
in the session folder. That file only contains GUI state (window size, and position, zoom-factor, etc). It is safe to be deleted.
Alternatively you could also edit the file and decrease the value of zoom="..."
in <Editor>
tag in that file, and perhaps also set left-frame="0"
to return to zero.
Haha, it would be great to compose a symphony!
I tried deleting the “instant.xml” file, but the same thing happens. I expand a track with the “F” key, and it’s when I try to zoom with the mouse wheel over the “Summary” that it goes out of control.
When I do " Zoom to Extends " Ardour crashes… something in the timeline?
SOLVED!
I edit the project .ardour file and see this values in the location section:
I replaced the end to b1000 and now the end bar have a reasonable position inside the project.
Thanks.
