Yamaha KX8

Hi, all.

Just a quick question.

The Yamaha KX series can controll DAW:s (as it says).
Does that work for Ardour to?

I am very tempted to go for a KX8 but if it doesn’t work (yet), then maybe I will keep the ProKeys a little longer.

I’m new here, so be nice ;).

By the way:
Running UbuntuStudio 8.04 (soon 9.04).

Ardour can use any midi controller messages for any parameter, but you have to take the time to set each one up
