Hey guys, has anyone succesfully used Addictive Drums 2 VST3 in Ardour?
I’m on win11 using Ardour 8.12.
I add Addictive Drums and, after asking me about how to configure it (I leave it on “Automatic”), a black window shows up and that’s it. Doesn’t work
Tried to add it either as a Midi track or as an effect on an audio track. No luck both ways.
Other drum machines, such as Sitala, work well.
Am I doing something wrong?

I have a very good setup with AD2 2.4 on Linux using yabridge and Wine-Staging 9.21. I know you are on Windows so my real point to you is to contact XLN Audio’s support, in my experience they are very quick to reply and accommodating. As an example for me the update to AD 2.6 broke things, I contacted them and told them straight-up I’m using your product on Linux and my problem started with version 2.6, they said no problem we’ll put an override on that registered machine so it will downgrade to 2.4 and never bother you to update and it’s been working great ever since. Since you are using one of their actual supported platforms I think you should be able to get your issue resolved by them.
A common issue there are outdated graphics card drivers on Windows.
Can you check if there is perhaps an update available?
