X42 plugins work very well in Ardour but not particularly well in Qtractor

x42 plugins are really great, and I like their simplicity compared to LSP plugins, but their interface behaves strangely in Qtractor, or rather, not at all. I have to close and reopen the plugin interface if, for example, I select one of my presets and want to see the changes reflected in the plugin interface. This is a real shame, because I particularly like the EQ, limiter, compressor, and the 8x8 MIDI step sequencer (the step sequencer doesn’t work in Qtractor when it’s supposed to sync to the host). Unfortunately, I’ll have to familiarize myself with the LSP plugins if I use Qtractor. Everything seems to work fine in Ardour.

They also work well in other hosts, notably the LV2 reference host jalv, as well as Carla and Reaper, so please file a bug report with Rui (QTractor author).
