Why is my subscription canceled by itself?

It seems that this is the third time that my subscription has been canceled by itself. What could it be?

Your last payment failed, and subscriptions are set up to be cancelled when this happens (we do not retry them).

Just need to renew it again. It must have been the third time this has happened.
It may be better to switch to paying a fixed amount each year. I mainly use Mixbus, but I want to be involved on Ardour’s side as well.
