What happens when you save a template?

I think I save a template but the instrument I load was not there when I open that template.

I think I know to save a template but how to open a template is more difficult, is’t any how can give me tip.

Start Ardour and click on the big New Session button.
The templates are in the top left area, so just select the one you want and continue.
Note that the templates are version dependent, so you won’t see an Ardour 7 template if you start Ardour 8.

You can copy templates between versions manually; if you’re running Linux that would be copying from ~/.config/ardour7/templates/ to ~/.config/ardour8/templates/
