VST2 or LV2, for Dexed synth

Hi,

I wish to install Dexed synth and have the choice between vst2 and lv2 (kx.studio/Repositories:Plugins).

Is please one of these choices better of the other ?

kxstudio doesn’t have the latest version,. The official repo for dexed has vst3 and clap plugins.
