How come the VCA fader automation lane has 45db of cut, but only 6db of boost?
In this screenshot, it shows what I mean. If you’re doing boosts here and there, then there’s kind of not much room to work because of the way the “Y axis” is here if that makes sense?
That screenshot shows the range of the Y axis. Whereas I might want to just do something like this? It gets a bit cramped. Works fine though like, but just wondered if I was missing something (like usual).
One can change fader automation interpolation to linear, in which case 0dB is roughly in the center. It’s in the context menu of the automation lane header.
