So I’m wondering if its possible to use my AKAI LPD8 with ardour? I’m planning to start using ardour but just need to know if there is some sort of plugin similar to battery?

“Similar” is a rather vague term. The answer would, correspondingly, be something like “sort of, yes, no”.
lol, good point. Essentially I’m wondering if there is a plugin that would allow me to assign samples to the MPC pads, then be able to record the MIDI through it? However that is just the way i am used to doing things, another question would then be, what programs, if any, are people using with MPC’s while using ardour?
