Updating the Manual by Github PR

I found what looks like a path error in the manual (Sessions & tracks > Tracks > Waveform display shows a wrong path for the configuration dialog). Also, all accessible options regarding waveform display are not detailed here (Show waveforms while recording, Show waveform clipping & Waveform Clip Level (dBFS) are missing).

Is it OK to submit a fix via a PR on Github?

NB: just finding out as I type that this part of the Manual kind of overlap with Ardour Configuration > Preferences > Waveform display (which covers all the options available in this section of the Preferences).

You probably are aware of both issues, but I’ll post my message anyway, hopefully it will be useful

It is more than OK. That’s why we have a mirror of our repositories on GitHub.

Great!

Also, I was mentioning Github cause that’s where the “edit quick link” on the top right of the manual page sent me, but if there’s another main repo (which I couldn’t find after a very quick and lazy look), just let me know, I’ll be glad to edit outside of Github.

Edit: Found it, as well as the contribution guidelines. I’ll stick to Github then

Our canonical repos are at git.ardour.org but we don’t run that site with a view to public interaction.
