Undo fade range

Hi all,

if I select an audio region and go to “Edit->Fade->Fade Range Selection”, then why can’t I cancel the operation? If I go to “Edit->Undo” an item like “Undo Fade” does not appear. Is there a way to undo the fade in and fade out? Otherwise how do I remove it?
[Ardour 7.4 on Linux]
