Hello, Ardour beginner here. I’m failing to connect Ardour to JACK:
---ERROR: JACK: Cannot create thread res = 1
ERROR: JACK: JackClient::AcquireSelfRealTime error
ERROR: JACK: Cannot use real-time scheduling (RR/5)(1: Vorgang nicht zulässig)
This is both the case when I use an external program to start JACK (e.g. QJackCtl), and when I let Ardour start it.
My OS is Ubuntu 20.04 (Focal), with Ardour 6.8.0 and jackd2 1.9.12
