Ubuntu with m-audio help please!

hey guys, I am new to the forum and to Ubuntu and I just got Ardour. I can not for the life of me figure out how to use my interface with the program.

Any help would be very helpful.

which m-audio interface are you using?

you mean fast track pro or fast track ultra?

Fast Track Pro should work @ 16 bit out of the box since its USB1 device for 24 bit a lot of tweaking is required.

Fast Track Ultra I don’t think it will work since it’s a USB2 device. Usb2 devices are not very well supported under linux.
