An error is in the instructions for building Ardour from source on this page: http://ardour.org/building
At the bottom of that page, in the options for scons, it’s said that SLV2 is the option that enables LV2 support. Instead, I discovered that it should be LV2. Please correct it to save some trouble on users wanting to build Ardour. Otherwise, that instructions page was excellent.
Nobody is going to correct this? It really gave me trouble when I discovered my Ardour couldn’t handle LV2, and had to search the net to find out I had to use LV2, and not SLV2. Sorry if I seem pushy here, just want to save other users the trouble that I faced. Cheers…
