Quick question. Has anyone found a way to keep the track header highlighted when selecting a region in the same track? I use keystrokes to navigate tracks, with each one getting highlighted as i go.
I use the included and excellent lua script to select a region under the playhead, but as soon as that happens, the track header is no longer highlighted, and i have to stab it with the mouse, before moving back to keystrokes.
Alternatively, is there a lua script of some sort, to automatically highlight/focus the track header of a track where a region(s) is highlighted that i can assign a keystroke to?
In some DAWs that’s an option. Selection in timeline will select the containing track. When working with jog/shuttle dials, this can be important. For example to toggle the plugins on those tracks, grab all the faders etc.
But it has to be optional, to make sense. That way the power user with controller can enable/disable it quickly with a shortcut/controller while still allowing for sane defaults for beginners, respecting the reason @paul mentioned.
