To deactivate "dead" folder

Hi, everybody!
I recently found useful function in Ardour to clean up unused sources. When I do that - all the unused files go to “dead” folder (which is in a main session folder). Every time I need to come there through the file manager and delete all files from “dead”.

Is it possible to erase unused files straight from disk through clean up function without using “dead”?

This is not possible, by design. We want to force you to reload the session from scratch before you get a chance to actually delete files from disk, in case anything may have gone wrong with the cleanup process.

You do not need to use a file manager. Inside Ardour: Session > Cleanup > Flush Wastebasket.

Super good! Grateful! Now I got total control about my disk space.
