Ardour 8.6 running on my Windows 10 computer takes an extremely long time to load third-party VST plug-ins. However, there is no such problem when loading its own VST plug-ins.
Ardour has no VST plugins of its own. All VST plugins are third party from Ardour’s perspective, so I am not sure what this actually means.
Is there any information in Ardour’s Plugin Manager (Ardour Menu > Window > Plugin Manager)?
