Ardour 9.2, from here, session created in A9.2.
Tempo-mapping is broken. It could be a bit flaky in A8 but it’s just not working at all in the newly-created session I’m working on. The creation of any bpm marker (whether manually, or using Grid mode) results in Ardour crashing/spontaneously closing.
In Grid mode, the cursor is invariably the “wrong” one i.e. hovering over the first beat of a bar, for most bars the cursor is a double-headed arrow (normally seen for other beats in a bar, I believe), for only a few bars here and there does the cursor show the square-with-the-bits-on-the-corners (same as in Stretch mode) when hovering over the first beat. I’ve had this behaviour before in A8 and re-opening the session later it would work correctly, but so far it’s showing the wrong behaviour every time in 9.2.
Trying to move the grid (whichever cursor is showing), instead of the grid compressing or expanding as you move the cursor, the whole timeline moves left or right (all beats moving the same amount like scrolling). Then, as I mentioned, it just crashes.
The session I’m working on has odd time signatures (7/8, 14/8, 15/8) and a lot of time signature changes, if that makes a difference.
