Let’s say I’ve recorded a drummer whose tempo I want to use as the basis for the song. Now the drummer doesn’t play exactly the same tempo, but there are slight tempo fluctuations at certain points in the song.
Now I want to record some MIDI tracks and need (e.g. for quantization or orientation, whatever) a click and the grid.
Now how do I program the tempo changes? Is there somehow a way to make Ardor understand that certain audio signals (e.g. the attack of the bass drum or the snare) have a specific beat and that Ardor adapts to it with its tempo (and thus also the grid and metronome) and synchronizes itself to it?
And the same thing, except that the drummer played with a midi drum set? So I have MIDI events as a starting point for the tempo?
