I really need to figure out how to hook up my Tascam 144 to my computer if any one can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it, I’ve been looking around and just can’t find anything about this model, I’m really mew at this so please bare with me.

I have the Tascam-144, Debian linux, and want to use Ardour. Does anyone know if they will all be compatable?
I have the Tasam 122L and it works on OS 10.5.8 on my macbook , except it loses connection now and then. I think that the 144 is similar to what I have. I think they need to update their drivers. I’ve been looking for something more dependable . Maybe the Lexicon Omega interface. Still not sure what to buy.
