Each take is the take you actually see the audio was recorded and put together in Ardour and the video was simultaneously filmed with a webcam on a second computer (my work computer on windows) then shipped across to my studio laptop (ubuntustudio) and put together in kdenlive. I actually have ardour and kdenlive on my work computer which is actually more powerful than my studio computer but my workflow on my linux machine is way faster if only because I have my key-bindings set up how I like them.
