I have a KORG volca beats, which listens to MIDI clock from my hardware synth. I would like to sync its tempo with Ardour for recording purposes and have no idea how to accomplish this. I use Linux and Jack, if that is relevant.
You may find all that you need in window/preferences
What you probably want is Ardour to be master, so it sends MIDI commands and clock to your synth, and your synth send to the Korg
Launch “a2jmidid -e” after having installed https://pkgs.org/download/a2jmidid may help too
To end, you probably can find your synth in the list in you Ardour MIDI track (see the mouse pointer in this image)
