Strange "export" problem

Hello, I’m using ardour 6.7 on Archlinux and something strange - never happened before this release - occours when I try to export ranges from the full record of my band’s rehearsals.
I usually set some ranges in the 3 hours stereo recording that I take with a Tascam DP006 (wav fomrat) and export them in mp3 format.
Recently, listening to the exported files, I noticed that, in some cases, the two stereo channel were completely out of sync.
Analyzing the waveform of a song, it shows a little silence (2/10 of a second) added in one channel, 5 seconds after the starting point.
Original tracks are perfect, this problem affects only the exported ranges. I use few plugins, ACE High/Low pass, x42-dpl and EQ6Q stereo.
Thanks in advance if someone give me a clue to solving this problem.

Just yesterday I was exporting some demos recorded in a rehearsal of my band and something similar happened to me.
All the songs (8) are recorded in the same project, divided by range markers.
After exporting the whole project and listening to the the exported tracks, I noticed that on several tracks the vocal track was out of sync (a little bit ahead).
Checking the original project, everything was OK.
My solution: export one by one the 8 ranges (songs) of the project. All OK.
Hint: after the “wrong” export, the Log button blinked red. This is the error it gave:

In my case, I use Ardour 6.7 downloaded from this web and Debian 10 stable
Should we open topic at https://tracker.ardour.org ???

Yes, please. Also include as much information as possible: which backend were you using, which export settings, was it a realtime export… etc

It seems that this problem happens to more people…

It seems that my problem is the same: I have two mono tracks panned one left and one right, so in fact the syncing problem affect one track, not a channel.
Even the errors in the log are the same:
2021-06-13T15:45:53 [ERROR]: DiskReader player:TRACK002: when refilling, cannot write 253952 into buffer
2021-06-13T15:45:53 [ERROR]: DiskReader player:TRACK002: when refilling, cannot write 253952 into buffer

Bug fixed!!! Thanks Robin.

Thanks for fixing it, Robin.
That was quick! :hugs:

Hi. In which version is fixed this problem now? Thanks

In the next version (or in the nightlies https://nightly.ardour.org/ , if you are a subscriber, I think)

see the bug report 0008742: Channels out of sync after export - Ardour Bug Tracker

Fixed in 6.7-173-g21f4598395

You can either compile this yourself, or get a nightly build as @LPJ suggested, or wait for the next release.

Does this mean there will be a 6.8 release ?

Ok, Great. Thank you!
