Thought I would share, could be very exciting!
Yeah, this is great news! Will certainly make it easier for 3rd parties and commercial entities to build their VSTs out of the box for all platforms, now including Linux. Woohoo!
It makes it easier to build VST3 plugins, which AFAIK no current Linux host supports. It doesn’t help with support, distribution, GUI implementation or packaging, all of which remain substantial issues for plugin developers.
It is good news, Bitwig Studio 2 supports it 
and it works. U-He vst3 versions load and work
I’ll still remember that using C++ interfaces and shipping them to third parties is a very-very bad idea.
