Ssue with Control Surfaces (Icon Platform M+/X & Behringer BCF2000)

Hi everyone,

I’m having an issue with my control surfaces. When I set up the Icon Platform M+ & X or my Behringer BCF2000, the motorized faders don’t respond at all.

The play, stop, and rewind/fast-forward buttons work (though they feel a bit sluggish), and the rotary encoders work fine, but the faders just won’t move.

Has anyone experienced this or knows how to fix it? Thanks!

What audio/MIDI backend are you using?

And also, what steps are you taking to “set up” the devices?

I’m on Windows 10 64-bit, using the official Behringer UMC404HD ASIO driver for audio.

As for the setup steps in my DAW (under Edit > Preferences > Control Surfaces):

I tried selecting the dedicated presets for my devices directly from the list.
I also tried setting them up as Mackie Control (MCU) devices.

In both cases, the result is identical: transport buttons and rotary encoders work, but the faders won’t engage or move at all.
