SSL Big 6 USB and Ardour

Hi All

The SSL Big 6 is, apparently, a fully USB compliant interface so in theory it’ll work “out of the box” with Ardour, but before I go ahead and drop £2k on one, has anyone tried it?

In what operating system?

The manufacturer claims on it’s website that “BiG SiX contains a class compliant USB 96 Khz / 24 bit interface”. If so, the basic recording and playing functionality of this interface must be working in Linux and Mac with no additional drivers.
