I’ve noticed that with Ardour 6.9 snapshots take a lot longer than they used to. In a session with only 6 MIDI tracks it’s been taking about 15 seconds. If I remember well, it used to be almost instantaneous. (I have 32GB or RAM and the disk is an SSD.)
Is this normal or is there something wrong with my system?
I have done a test with a project consisting of 32 audio tracks and 6 busses, with several plugins, and in my case it creates the snapshots almost immediately.
I don’t use MIDI, only audio.
Ardour 6.9 official on Debian 11 stable, 12 GB RAM and SSD
