Signal polarity inverted bad wiring

When I try to measure latency I get the message “Signal polarity inverted bad wiring.” Not sure what to do to resolve this I am using audio-technica mic into a Behringer MX602A mixer into an M-Audio Delta 2496 sound card. Would appreciate any advice. Thank you.

Latency measurement is typically performed using a cable from the audio device output to the audio device input, not using the full acoustic path of microphone to interface to speaker. The analog path is a trivial part of the total latency so Delta 2496 line out to line in is all you really need to measure.
