Set chapters in an MP3

Hi,

We run a little podcast which we use Ardour to edit and mix. One request we have had from listeners is to set ‘chapters’ in the audio file to people can skip to specific segments of the show.

I can’t see how we can set chapters in an MP3 (or any) audio file.

Help!

You’d have to split it up into separate files and create a playlist - .m3u in the case of mp3. It’s not something you’d use Ardour to get done but there are plenty of tools out there to help you do this if you search.
