Selecting a MIDI channel for recording

Though I have found similar topics, I did not find an answer to my question.
I want to play drums using my MIDI keyboard and GM synth.

I know I have to use Channel 10, I can even select a patch in GM synth Channel 10 (picture below), but it keeps playing Channel 1.
How to get it to play Channel 10 ?

Right-click on MIDI track header and choose “Channel Selector…”. https://manual.ardour.org/working-with-tracks/midi-track-controls/

I put the settings I have to use here if anyone has the same question.

I am using Ardour 6.2.0 on Lubuntu 20.04.

Install Ardour 6.5, open your project in it and try again
