I’m new to Ardour, trying to figure out basic controls. For me using the mouse can be troublesome.
What action do I need to bind to use the keyboard to select the take(s) under the Edit Point (EP)? I’ve looked through the keybind menu and I couldn’t figure out what it’d be.
To make a short question long: In trying to split at the EP, which I have set to the Playhead, I realized you had to have to first have the take you want to split selected. I couldn’t figure out how to select just the take under the EP, so I used Ctrl+Shift+e to select all including and after the EP, then “s” to split at the EP. But then I realized I need to delete the bit that I split off, so I do in fact need to be able to select just the one take under the EP. How do?
I apologize if this is abnormal usage, I’m not exactly a professional. Tips appreciated.
