Scaling issues when using draw mode

My laptop comes with 1920x1080 monitor, so I had to scale Ardour. When right-side pane is open, and when I switch to draw mode, Ardour simply freezes. I had to make it floating window, then again back to full screen, then the right end is beyond the edge of the screen. If I either close the pane or go back to some other edit modes it resizes.

OS: fedora 44
WM: mango (based on dwl wayland)
Ardour version : 9.7.0 (prebuilt)

There should be no need for that. min. window size is 1650x800 (at 100% font-scaling in Ardour Preferences > Appearance > Size and Scale):

Wayland could potentially be a problem. If you must use wayland, preferably use Ardour’s scaling, Wayland scaling the window will result in rendering artifacts.

I don’t face that issue with sway for some reason (so I switched to sway).
No, I don’t use wayland scaling, it always messes up some applications, I just zoom individual applications, even in Ardour, I zoomed it with GUI and Font scaling option.
If I use ardour’s 100% scale, the text is so tiny, like, if there was option to zoom font only, I wouldn’t have used the GUI and Font Scaling option.

But I did not face this issue when I was using arch’s distro package earlier. Like, it just felt inconsistent. Sometimes I fear the whole app crashes.
Thanks for your response.
