"save as" & big soundfont files

Hi,

I have an Ardour file which uses some soundfonts, which are in their big files.

When I “save as” this Ardour file, the software copies the big soundfonts files in the new Ardour folder; this one becomes huge.

How can I please avoid that ?

By “soundfonts” you mean “.sf2” files (just making sure)? Which plugin are you using them with? Which plugin format does the plugin have? LV2? VST3?

Hi,

Yes, I tell about sf2 files and the plugin is ACE Fluid Synth; which is listed here as LV2.
