anyone has tried to run audio software on the steam deck? theoretically it should be possible as the Os is arch based. it could be very interesting not so much for recording but for live performing… ?
edit: i found a second link seeing people are running bitwig, vcv etc on it…
but no word about ardour.
I’d guess the average Ardour user has no steam-deck - but if Bitwig runs there, Ardour will run circles around it 
Have you tried to just install it? You can likely even use pacman to install arch’s Ardour version.
ha, this sounds really good!! I do not have a steam deck, i just thought this could be very interesting for live performing experimental music, not using a “traditional” laptop based setup…
