RT kernel for Ubuntu 9.10 with support for 64GB of RAM

Just thought I should mention my kernel (as I’ve now tested it on six separate machines for the last month and have had no problems) for anyone using Ubuntu 9.10 with more than 4GB of RAM.

Get the kernel and headers from here:

http://dickmacinnis.com/DreamOS/binary/linux-image-2.6.31-15-dream_i386.deb

Also, browse this directory for any other files you may also want (updated ardour, qjackctl, hydrogen, lmms, bristol, etc…):

It’s currently not a proper repo, as I’m focusing on doing that for Lucid (which comes out in a week), but it should tide over anybody looking for a bunch of current software for Ubuntu in one place before I get the repo ready (and I will make sure that my repo will upgrade smoothly any packages you may have installed from my site already).

Peace!
