RokerPack is a collection of free guitar-focused audio plugins for Linux (VST3). In this release, both tuners - for bass and six-string guitar - have been thoroughly redesigned. They should now work well with DAW session sample rates from 44.1 kHz up to 96 kHz and are optimized to reduce CPU load.
The old pitch detection algorithm revealed its shortcomings after some changes occurred in my system - whether it was a Linux kernel update or changes to the PipeWire audio subsystem - but the old algorithm started struggling with low latency in the DAW. Therefore, significant work was required to reduce CPU load, and at the same time, to make the code more flexible.
