Hello everyone,
I recently got an RME babyface which I want to use with a relatively new macbook pro to record with ardour.
I am having hellish time getting any signal out of the Totalmix into ardour for recording.
If anyone has had good experience with totalmix and ardour on a macbook pro, please help.
I will be grateful for any suggestions.

@zoran: i know you’re looking for a solution, but hitting both the ardour-users mailing list and this forum at the same time tends to end up being a bit of a timewaster for people who might be able to help you.
Did you grant the permission Aurdour needs for Microphone in the Mac System Preferences > Privacy & Security?
Any app that uses audio inputs (DAW, Zoom, etc) must be granted permission to use Microphone here, that means all audio inputs.
Going to close this thread honestly as it is 13+ years old, and at the time that was posted the Privacy and Security preferences referenced in the last post didn’t even exist.
