Record with count in

I’ve noticed that there no option to keep active record w/count in . I’d like to record pressing bar space and hear the count in before start recording.

The default keyboard shortcut for “record with count-in” is Shift > (see Menu > Transport).

There is no easy solution to achieve what I expect you want:

• Play if no track is record-armed
• Record with count-in when some track is record-armed
• Stop playback or stop Recording when the transport currently rolls

One could write a Lua Script, which can then be triggered by the Spacebar as keyboard shortcut. - but it’s probably easier to just get used to “shift + >”
