First I want to say that the more I use ardour the more I like it.
I also like it very much that working with ardour forces me to rethink my approach of editing (eg playlists)!
What I didn’t understood jet is why there is a difference between selection (only entire regions) and range?
Another question is, is there a shortcut or another quick way to make a range between the edit-cursor and the play-cursor?
In protools I’ve used the arrow up/down keys for for a quick selection while auditioning a lot.
