Ok, i have a M-audio Detla 44 and got ardour up and running. After alot of messing around, figured out how to record stereo with the help of my mixer board. One problem i have is i can hear myself when I’m recording, i can hear myself after recording, but as soon as i hit the play button, i can only hear what i recorded. I want to be able to still play my guitar while hearing playback. How can i do that?
You use software monitoring, don’t you? The same happens to me. You can always jack-connect your guitar capture device to the playback devices when you just play without recording, bypassing ardour that way, that’s what I do. Better ideas?
