I sure like it, but then: it is what i grew up with (punk).
You’d have to try it, perhaps i am fully wrong, but it might be the vocals a bit more silent would be better, at least in some parts/regions.
(Also, that is even more choice, but a bit more aggression regarding the vocals/singing, it wouldn’t hurt).
But that are really sidenotes. It is a solid punk song. Leave as is sure is an option.

Beautiful. I didn’t exactly grow up with it like my fellow commentator above, but punk had a considerable impact on me when it erupted.

I don’t think you have to sing all that aggressive everytime, particularly not in this song. Listen to “New Rose” by The Damned or “Ca plane pour moi” by the singer who never existed, the mythical figure Plastic Bertrand, stroke of genius… the somewhat “cool” attitude in the vocals of your song fits the subject perfectly.

And I find them sitting perfectly in the mix listening to Bose PC speakers, my regular touchstones because they don’t exactly deliver highest definition. That being said, your mix sounds allright with HiFi Sennheisers as well. So everything is good so far. The reason why the vocals appear a bit prominent occasionally may be because the EQ is a bit on the bright side, but that doesn’t really matter, on the contrary, it lends a certain crispyness and punch to the overall appearance.

The brief rythm change on “And it starts on three” is fab, well done!

Hi friends,

The track is in progress , there it is :

• Some changes in the bass and drums parts, and in the drums sound
• first use of harmonic generator plugin on bass
• a cleaner sound (equalizer on the pre-master bus to clear the “muddiness zone” )
• and a a sound more in mood
• some other very little changes in the tracks /plugins

I like it. I assumed i like it more than the original version, compared both beginnings, if i am really right, was sure i prefer the second version. While i wrote the comment, soundcloud switched to the original version, and i realized: nope, i really like both versions. They have a slightly different feel, but both are good.

on another note: I got hard times with drums, once a one or two region loop is done, i run out of ideas.
If possible and you willing too: i think looking at how your drum-track at soundcloud is organized as midi, it might help me with that problem. Not effect plugins or such, really only the midi, how the drums are “organized” (on top Blonde Bob by AVLinux is my favorite anyway). No problem if not possible, of course.
Also all the other songs at soundcloud are my cup of tea too, nice
