Another strange one on my tab, suddenly in my session when I drag left or right any region all regions in the same track drag along with it, despite only the former being selected 
Happened with Ardour 6.7, then installed 6.9 and it was the same 
Could it be that you have switched to ripple edit mode? See The Ardour Manual | Global Edit mode.
Change it back to “Slide” (dropdown top left in the editor).
