Problem with editor interface size

Hi all,

in a large multitrack MIDI/audio project suddenly the editor interface is cut off at the bottom.
I tried to zoom out in “Preferences”, “GUI and Font scaling”, but nothing happens, it stays cut at the bottom.
The vertical scroll bar in the Region List on the right has also disappeared.
What can I do?

take a screenshot and post it here, specify your monitor size. ensure that Ardour’s GUI scaling is set to 100%.

I see now that the problem is more generalized, even when I add multiple MIDI tracks at the same time, the program crashes.
Something happened that caused the program to no longer work properly.

Anyway:

From terminal (Ubuntu 22.04):

Please run xwininfo to get the actual dimensions of Ardour’s window.

What happens if you try to reduce the size of the window?

It doesn’t change anything, it remains cut at the bottom.
Could I try to recompile the sources?

Ardour 7.5 on Debian here with XFCE:

Window height can be reduced to 725 with the mouse.

In my system:

Ardour 7.4 and 7.5 on Ubuntu 22.04 with Gnome:

vertically the window does not resize with the mouse.

In version 7.5, which I have now successfully built from sources, the same problem remains.
Also, in version 7.5, as soon as I execute the “Deinterlace Into Layers” command in a MIDI region, Ardour suddenly shuts down.
