Plugins UI very laggy

Hi all,

My VST/LV2 plugin’s UIs are really laggy. It is also the case with other external programs, such as chat applications.
That leads me to believe that it could be a kernel issue?

Is this a known issue? I’ on Ubuntu studio 18.04 with KXStudio.

The problem is not with Ardour, because it is also lagging if I run Helm and Zyn-SubFX as standalone.

Any suggestions?

I think you would be better to hit up the ubuntu forums. What’s your hardware look like and is it new or were you running this box previously without these problems?

Hi Saam,
You are right, I changed to nvidia drivers and that solved it.
