Plugins get white-on-white text when using dark-mode (Mojave)

Hey,

I’m running Mojave on a 2013 Mac Pro. This was the first macOS to introduce a dark-mode, and I want to keep using it.

-BUT, this is what it does to certain plugin text…

Anyone know if I can prevent this from happening somehow??? O___o
It’s really f*cking annoying.

Thanks,

The green circled plugin UI is Ardour’s generic interface.

The red plugins are custom Audio Unit GUIs (made by Apple, or auto-generated by Apple). The plugin host has no control over their look/feel.

I suppose for those you could just use Ardour’s Generic UI instead (right-click, edit with generic UI).

Thanks.
Yeah, control + double-click does the same thing.
This will work for now, yes! :+1:

Odd this one (and maybe others) gets its parameters dramatically trimmed, however:

No worries though.
This generic GUI route will work great for probably 99% of cases.
