Hi I am running 9.8…
Having not recorded for while, 6-8 month or so, I noted when inserting a plugin for a specific track it does not work.
In my case I was trying to insert reverb and/or EQ .
It does not work with a variety suppliers . That is before or after fader.
I can adjust the parameters but without effect.
any idea … would be much appreciated
Do plugins on other tracks in the same session work?
Is the plugin on the specific track active; i.e. does it have a bright green indicator when you look at it in either the mixer or editor window?
Yes , the green light is on , in Mixer and Editor
Is it track specific ? latest test => no
Well I prefer LSP plugins because of the graphical user interface ( and used to like calf plugins for the same reason)
The problem is with LSP plugins ! (and maybe selected others)
I tested a non lsp plugin and it worked ( no GUI)
For some reason LSP plugins don’t seam to work.
Was there “something” in the latest release(s) which influences the working of LSP plugins ?
I am puzzled , it used to be just plug and play
I’m using the LV2 version of lsp-plugins-1.2.35 and it works fine.
If you’re using the Parametric EQ you have to remember to enable each filter you want to use, since they default to Off.
Since you can can change the values of the different knobs even if the filter is Off (kind of a UI bug) you can be fooled into thinking that it’s active even though it isn’t.
Make sure you change it to Bell or something suitable from the drop-down list and then you also get the handle to drag with your mouse in the Spectrum graph window.
… It is working ! I tested it in new session.
What went wrong ? I do not know. I did every thing you mentioned .
